Mills Group welcomes AIA and establishes Wheeling location
The Mills Group is excited to announce the addition of Victor R. Greco, AIA to the firm. He joins Mills Group as a Principal Architect, and will lead the architectural studio with responsibility for the design and technical aspects of the work product and will oversee the quality assurance and quality control for the firm. "Vic" brings an extensive background with award winning projects to the company, and has been a leader in the West Virginia architectural community for nearly 25 years. He will work alongside with Founder Michael Mills, AIA who will oversee the preservation and planning projects, strategic business development, firm administration, and staff development.
Prior to coming onboard with Mills Group, Vic served as the managing partner at SMG Architects' Wheeling office where he worked with numerous religious facilities, college and universities, senior living clients, historic preservation, restoration, and adaptive reuse architectural projects. Vic is active in community and statewide volunteerism. He is also an Easter Seals Board officer, Salvation Army Advisory Board member, Rotary member, VNA Board member, WV Archives and History Commissioner, and member of the Wheeling Historic Landmarks Commission.
The former SMG Architects Wheeling office, staff, facility, and collective experience has been incorporated into Mills Group to further complement and expand its existing skills and market reach. The new Mills Group location in Wheeling will enable the firm to better service that area and the surrounding region. In addition to the historic preservation, restoration, and adaptive reuse work, the combined talent will further strengthen Mills Group's ability to service hospitality, healthcare, and commercial clients; such as banks, retail stores, and restaurants with innovative architectural services throughout the state of WV and Mid-Atlantic region.
