Mills Group Marks 20 Years of Design Excellence with Art Auction Benefiting the Preservation Alliance of West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (November 6, 2025) – Mills Group, a leading architectural and design firm based in Morgantown, will celebrate its 20th anniversary with an evening of art, architecture, and community giving at the historic Hotel Morgan. The milestone event highlights Mills Group’s two decades of commitment to preserving West Virginia’s architectural heritage and will feature a special art auction benefiting the Preservation Alliance of West Virginia (PAWV).

Founded in 2005 by Michael Mills, AIA, Mills Group has built its reputation on design excellence, community collaboration, and historic preservation. To honor that legacy, the firm commissioned a collection of original art pieces inspired by iconic West Virginia historic buildings. These works will be auctioned starting at the celebration, with proceeds donated to PAWV to support its mission of protecting and revitalizing the state’s historic resources.

The Mills Group 20th Anniversary Silent Art Auction will open during the November 6 celebration and continue online through December 19, 2025, allowing the wider community to participate.
